    el Doom Metal o Metal de la condenacion es un subgenero del Heavy Metal caracterizado por ritmos lento, riff pesados y pasajes oscuros. su tematica generalmente es sobre la muerte, la depresion, la oscuridad y la religion. sus principales esponentes son: Pentagram, Candlemass, Cathdral, entre otros. entre sus subgeneros estan: el sludge, funeral doom, storne, proto, deathdoom, blackdoom. le dio el origen al Gothic Metal
